Make it truly theirs
More than their name in a book. Their world goes into their Night Before Christmas Book — then you edit the words and the illustrations until it is right.
Their name appears naturally throughout the story — in the telling, not dropped into a gap left for it.
The photo you upload becomes an illustrated character they can recognize, drawn the same way from cover to final page.
The things they love this year become real moments in the adventure, rather than a list of traits.
They are the main character — the one who solves it, helps and makes the big moment happen.
Change the words, ask for different illustrations and keep adjusting every page until it reads the way you want. You approve the book before anything is printed.
Simple from start to finish

Share their name and age, upload one clear photo, and pick what they love doing on Christmas Eve.

Pick Fireside Christmas Eve, Moonlit Rooftop or Starry Bedtime, in watercolor, Pixar-inspired or cartoon.

The story, simply explained
Your child does not go anywhere in this one. The evening you actually have moves towards sleep, and Christmas arrives around them while they dream.
It opens on the Christmas Eve tradition you picked — the lights, the film, the elf in a new hiding place — in the same house, pyjamas and weather on every page.
They put out exactly what Santa will find, get tucked in the way your family does it, and lie there with their eyes drifting back to the dark window.
Santa comes while the house is quiet, and an elf whispers what your child is hoping for. They never wake, and that is the point.
Who is in the story
Choose who appears in their Night Before Christmas Book. You can add their photos in the next step.

Make your child the star of their very own personalized storybook. Their name, photo, and favorite things inspire beautiful custom illustrations throughout the book.

Create a personalized storybook featuring your child and their loved ones. Add photos of parents, grandparents, or siblings so they can appear alongside your child on some pages.
Why families choose it
Built from your child's name, age and photo, the theme you choose, and the Christmas Eve details you share.

Written in a soft, gentle rhythm for reading aloud on Christmas Eve, just before lights out.
Helpful answers
Order the hardcover book by Friday, December 4 for delivery before Christmas in the US, Canada, the UK, Australia and India. The PDF arrives instantly, so it works right up to Christmas Eve, and it comes free with every hardcover.
Children roughly 1 to 9. The language is soft and simple enough to read aloud to a toddler at bedtime, and the story still holds an older child who likes seeing themselves in it. It is made to be read on Christmas Eve, just before lights out.
Your child's name, age and gender, one photo, the cover theme and the illustration style. Before the preview you tell us whether it snows where you live, pick up to two things your child loves doing on Christmas Eve, and share what they're hoping Santa will bring. For the full book you can add who they'd love to spot on Christmas Eve, what they leave out for Santa, who gives the goodnight hug, what makes bedtime cozy, anything extra special about this Christmas, who the book is from and a dedication. Anything you leave blank is simply left out — the story will not invent traditions your family does not have.
Your child is drawn from the photo you upload, so the character is created to resemble them rather than being a generic figure with a name attached. A clear, well-lit photo with no hat or sunglasses gives the best result. You see the pages before you pay, and you can redraw an illustration or swap the photo if it is not right.
Only the people you tag in your photo are ever illustrated. A photo of your child alone makes a book about just them; tag family in the same photo if you would like them drawn too. Anyone you mention in your answers but do not tag is named in the story text, not drawn.
Gently, near the end — glimpsed while your child is asleep, filling stockings or crossing the sky with the reindeer. There is no nice list and nothing about being good enough for presents; the magic simply arrives.
Yes — many are ordered by grandparents. Upload a photo with you and your grandchild together and tag who's who; everyone you tag is illustrated in the book. You can preview the whole book free, then write your own dedication before you order.
Christmas Eve is one of the nights children remember longest — the hush, the waiting, trying to stay awake. A personalized Night Before Christmas book puts your child inside that feeling: their name on the cover, their likeness on the pages, and a story that ends with them fast asleep as the magic arrives. Preview it free, then choose a PDF for $14.99 or a hardcover for $49.99.
No. It is an original bedtime story inspired by the classic Christmas Eve poem — the hush, the gentle rhythm, the stockings and the sleigh — rather than the poem itself with a name swapped in. It is written in soft, simple lines that read aloud well, without forcing rhymes.
Many personalized books only add a name. This one uses your photo for the illustrations, the theme you pick for the look of the book, and — if you share them — what your child loves doing on Christmas Eve, what you leave out for Santa, who they'd love to spot that night, who gives the goodnight hug and what makes bedtime cozy. Anything you leave out, the story leaves out too, rather than making it up.
The story follows the shape of the night itself: the evening glow, your traditions, growing sleepy, falling asleep, and the quiet magic that comes after. It winds down instead of winding up, which suits the end of a very exciting day.
One that calms rather than excites. A personalized Night Before Christmas book follows your child through a cozy Christmas Eve to sleep, with the magic arriving quietly while they dream — a gentle way to end a big night.
