Make it truly theirs
More than their name in a book. Their world goes into their Kids' Birthday Book — then you edit the words and the illustrations until it is right.
Their name appears naturally throughout the story — in the telling, not dropped into a gap left for it.
The photo you upload becomes an illustrated character they can recognize, drawn the same way from cover to final page.
The things they love this year become real moments in the adventure, rather than a list of traits.
They are the main character — the one who solves it, helps and makes the big moment happen.
Change the words, ask for different illustrations and keep adjusting every page until it reads the way you want. You approve the book before anything is printed.
Simple from start to finish

Tell us their name, the age they're turning, and what they love right now — then pick a cover theme and art style.

We use it so the illustrations actually look like them, not a generic cartoon child.

See the cover and pages first, personalize the story further, then choose PDF or hardcover when you're happy.

The story, simply explained
Not an adventure — a love letter. The whole book is in your voice, speaking to your child about the year they have just finished.
It opens where the year opened: the early memories, the way they were when it began, and how much of it they have already outgrown.
The funny moment you still repeat, the phrase they say constantly, what they learned to do, what they wanted on their plate every single day. Your answers become the middle of the book.
It ends on the birthday itself — the celebration, and a page from you about who they are now.
Who is in the story
Choose who appears in their Kids' Birthday Book. You can add their photos in the next step.

Make your child the star of their very own personalized storybook. Their name, photo, and favorite things inspire beautiful custom illustrations throughout the book.

Create a personalized storybook featuring your child and their loved ones. Add photos of parents, grandparents, or siblings so they can appear alongside your child on some pages.
Why families choose it
Every page captures a real moment: the funny things they said, the milestones they hit, and the personality that makes them uniquely them.

Helpful answers
It is for a child turning two, three, four, five, or six, told as the story of the year they just had. It is usually made by parents, and often by grandparents, aunts, and uncles who want to give something other than another toy. The questions change with the age you pick, so the milestones fit the year your child actually had.
Their name, the age they're turning, the cover theme and illustration style, plus the details of their year: what they're obsessed with, favorite foods, personality, new things they learned, their nickname, the phrase they say all the time, and the funniest moment. Small, specific details are what make it land. The stuffed elephant named Peanut beats a sentence about loving animals.
The characters are drawn from the photo you upload, so the child in the book is created to resemble your child rather than a generic cartoon with their name attached. A clear, well-lit photo without hats or sunglasses gives the best result. You can preview the book before you pay, and you can redraw an illustration or swap the photo if it is not right.
Yes. Upload a photo of the birthday child alone or with family, then tag who's who. Parents and siblings you tag appear on a few pages alongside the birthday child.
Absolutely — that's the idea! Many families create a new book each year, building a collection that captures their child's entire early childhood. By age 6, you'll have a shelf of memories.
The more specific, the better. Instead of 'she likes animals,' tell us 'she carries a stuffed elephant named Peanut everywhere and tries to feed it real food.' Those details make the story magical.
Yes — many are ordered by grandparents. Upload a photo with you and your grandchild together and tag who's who; everyone you tag is illustrated in the book. You can preview the whole book free, then write your own dedication before you order.
Young children are at the age where seeing themselves in a story is genuinely thrilling — their name on the cover, their face in the pictures, the thing they're obsessed with this year written into the plot. Most birthday presents compete with everything else in the toy box. A book where they are the main character doesn't. Preview it free, then choose a PDF for $14.99 or a hardcover for $49.99.
This is the request every parent and grandparent gets: please, nothing else plastic. A personalized birthday book is a real present a child is excited to open, that takes up one slot on a shelf rather than half the living room, and that still gets picked up months after the party.
Most personalized children's books drop a name into a fixed story — the plot is identical for every child. This one is built around what you actually tell us: the age they're turning, what they love right now, the theme you choose. The illustrations come from your photo, so the child on the page looks like your child.
Yes — it's usually read aloud at first, which is exactly when a book about themselves lands hardest. Then they grow into reading it alone, and later it becomes a record of who they were at four or five, which is really a gift for the parents.
A good one holds their attention past the party. A personalized illustrated storybook casts them as the main character, uses their real age and current obsessions, and stays interesting long after the balloons come down.
Answer a few questions about the birthday child, upload one clear photo, and choose a cover theme and art style. The book is generated around your answers. Preview it for free, edit it, and only pay when you love it.
